King Pharoho - Interview

1. Tell us your rap name and where are you from? Kvng Pharoho Jersey City NJ 2. What made you start making music? I always had a love for music since I was a kid and my step father always playing music to clean up, cook, or just relax and play the game. The music started being apart of my life once I started going though bipolar depression. Then it became my therapy to help cope with how I'm feeling and be able to put it to music is a blessing. 3. Who are your influences in rap? A boogie, Rod Wave, and Jamie Fox 4. What is your take on the underground rap scene right now? I see there is a lot of talented artist that are coming out and developing their skills myself included. I can't wait to work with them and make some magic. 5. As an artist who has to compete with thousands of others for streams/plays, what makes your music worth people clicking on? Yea it's true the there is a lot of competition out there and a lot of them are on another level then I'm on right now. But my music speaks to the broke souls, my music is something that you can really relate to and it doesn't hurt have a good vibe and a catchy hook. 6. You have 1 person to thank, who would it be? I would like to thank my school mom Ms Miley, without her I wouldn't have made it this far. 7. What is your process for recording music ? My process is really simple I just go into my zone. I put on some beats and I start vibing and just drift off to my mindscape which I like to call the (Pharoho's Tomb), and feel the emotions and the melody then magic just happens. 8. Any upcoming projects or singles fans should be getting ready for this year? I'm always work on new music and and developing new ideas for albums. But I just realized my first album (Soul Walker) which is available on all platforms. 9. What keeps you motivated and on path towards your goals for music? A lot of people just want the riches and fame the comes with making it. But I'm all about giving back, not just my family, friends, of the community. I want to help as many people as I can especially our youth. 10. What impact do you want to have on the world? I want to impact the in a positive matter. I want the young generation to look up to someone positive to help mold their future. Most importantly I want to leave a legacy in this world for my kids. Let them no that their dad was someone to be proud of, and look up to. 11. What's your best collaboration experience with another artist or producer? The best collaboration experience I had is with my sister. She helped write one of my songs (Don't Judge Me) and it really meant a lot cause I really didn't have to many people in my corner that really thought I could make it. 12. Who does all of your cover art or do you make your own? I do all my own cover art. 13. Who makes most of your beats or production? My production is handled by my engineer Knox 14.
