My name is La from treemix ent but everybody calls me L or L a. La stand for lyrics and ambition. I'm from Cleveland ohio

2. What made you start making music?

I've always had a thing for music since I can remember. I was the guy rapping in the cafeteria or outside in the crowd battling other artist. Over the years I lost alot of friends who I use to rap with. I decided that I want to put out music and music videos so my loved ones can always see and hear me. It's important to me. Especially for my kids sake. I'm a proud parent of 4

3. Who are your influences in rap?

Tupac would have to be in the top of the list. I've always respected the way he would easily be able to speak his message thru his music while keeping it at the same time. Jadakiss. Swishahouse. Jay z.Twista. Lil wayne would have to be my favorite though.

4. What is your take on the underground rap scene right now?

I feel like there is talent everywhere. I've met so many people who's music should be heard by the world on repeat.

Cleveland ohio is a goldmine for unsigned talent and our time to shine is coming soon

5. As an artist who has to compete with thousands of others for streams/plays, what makes your music worth people clicking on?

I make music for the people in pain. For the people struggling. For the people who are lost and trying to stay focused. I do this for the people who have to get up everyday and handle their business or they may lose it all in any giving moment. Life hard and I speak about that instead of girls and jewelry like alot of artist do to get on. People relate to what's real. I make music about my kids and about progression.

6. You have 1 person to thank, who would it be?

I would have to say my mother. At a young age I've learned about how hard and cruel life could be sometimes. But thru it all no matter hard life got I've never seen or heard her complain. She always found a way and I gotta thank her for all the love and wisdom and guidance. I love u Mama

7. What is your process for recording music ?

The lyrics just pop up in my head. I don't force anything. I can be at work and I'll have a few bars pop in my head. If I have time I'll write em down. 95% of my songs are freestyles.

8. Any upcoming projects or singles fans should be getting ready for this year?

I released two songs recently. Far away, which is dedicated to my daughter and Set in stone. I have a few songs I plan on dropping in the next month along with a few more music videos. I want to make it a better and safer place for my kids and the people here after I'm gone. I'm hoping my music will help me get to the point where I can help everyone. No more homeless people. No more addicts with no places to go. No more Pain for single moms. No more pain for Dads who are being denied being a father. No more kids being ripped out of loving families. No more families struggling about funeral expenses. No more diabetics struggling to afford insulin.

11. What's your best collaboration experience with another artist or producer?

To be honest every experience is amazing. To be able to meet so many people and connect thru music itself is a Blessing. I hope to meet everyone at the top. Music is a passion.

I make 99 percent of everything myself. As an independent artist, you have to learn what u can and work with it
